Washing machine for destitute family in Veria
My name is Evangelia and I am the mother of a destitute family. I live with my husband in Veria. We have two adult children, who have their own families. Our 13-year-old grandson, whom we raise, lives with us. We live in a house of 30 sq. m. We have been unemployed for seven years with multiple health problems: my husband has a problem with his kidney, while I have tumor in the esophagus. We survive with the help of our church and parish. I used to receive a disability allowance but I don’t anymore. Our living conditions are very difficult in general. We need a washing machine. I have been hand washing our clothes for seven years now, but this is a burden now, too, for the state of my health.
Thank you in advance.
